Yediyurappa to meet Modi, J P Nadda

Date:

Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa a member of the BJP Parliamentary Board, will visit Delhi on Friday to meet party leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “I am going to Delhi… Today and tomorrow I will be there. Today evening I am meeting Modiji. I will also meet Amit Shah, (J P) Nadda, and Rajnath Singh today or tomorrow and plan to come back tomorrow evening.” he told reporters here.

“It is my duty to deliberate with them on what I should be doing (with) a new responsibility to me. If Dattatrya Hosabale (RSS General Secretary) is available, I will meet him too,” he said.

Yediyurappa’s visit to Delhi comes in the wake of the end of Nalin Kumar Kateel’s presidentship of the Karnataka BJP. On August 17, Yediyurappa was appointed to the party’s Parliamentary Board and Central Election Committee ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections in early 2023.
