Kerala Guv criticizes KT Jaleel for his remarks in Kashmir

Date:

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 14:Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan criticized MLA KT Jaleel’s controversial Facebook post over ‘Azad Kashmir’. Calling it ‘unacceptable and unfortunate’, Khan wondered whether the comments were made from research or ignorance. CPI(M) leader KT Jaleel has withdrawn his controversial post on Facebook following massive backlash over his use of the term ‘Azad Kashmir’. In his original post, Jaleel talked about his recent Kashmir tour and used the term while referring to Jammu and Kashmir’s socio-political and historic background. The former minister’s post invited the wrath of opposition leaders with the BJP demanding that he be booked for sedition.

It is a known fact that mistakes made on social media can land you into trouble. Something similar happened to Ramayan actress Dipika Chikhlia on Independence Day. Ramayan’s Sita got trolled for tagging Pakistan PMO in India’s Independence Day tweet. The actress shared a picture of herself holding the Tiranga & by mistake tagged the Pak PMO. The tweet has been removed, but the images of the post have already gone viral. Social media users mocked him by saying, ‘what’s wrong with Sita? She is saluting Ravan!’. Watch his report to know more.
