Onam celebrations begin at International Airport

Thiruvananthapuram: A 10-day Onam celebration has begun at the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. Domestic and International terminals will be decorated with Onappookalam every day to welcome passengers who can also participate in Pookkalam making.

Different programs are also being organized under different departments . Programs including Tiruvathirakali, Tug of War, and Uriyadi were held under the leadership of the operation department. Arts and sports programs were also organized by Air India Sats.

A musical program will be staged today by the airport staff. A Shingari Melam has been organized tomorrow and dance events like Mohiniyattam and Bharatanatyam the next day.

On the 4th, the inmates of Sai Gramam will arrive at the airport to celebrate Onam. On the 5th, various arts and sports programs will be staged under the leadership of Airport Authority employees. On the 6th there will be art progress by commercial establishments of the airport.” Mahabali” will meet passengers on the 7th and 8th with greetings and gifts.
