KTR Assures Support for Farmers

Date:

Rajanna Siricilla : State IT and Industries Minister Kalvakuntla Tarakarama Rao (KTR) has visited the Rajanna Sirisilla district and reassured farmers that the government will support them. KTR inspected the crop loss at the field level in Mustabad Mandal Gopalapalli, Ellareddypet Mandal Guntapalli Cheruvutanda, and Veernapalli on Tuesday. He also inspected the wet grain in the grain buying center and consoled the farmers.
KTR told reporters that the recent hailstorms and untimely rains have affected the farmers, and the government is aware of their suffering. CM KCR himself had inspected the crops and assured the farmers of support. The government will buy the stained grain and release compensation of Rs. 10,000 per acre for the crop damage in 19 thousand acres. KTR assured that the farmers need not worry as seven and a half lakh tonnes of grain have already been purchased, and the money will be released soon.
KTR criticized the Karnataka Prime Minister Narendra Modi for adopting a culture of discrimination by not providing cylinders and milk to other states and accused him of being a coward. He expressed his support for KCR’s leadership, who understands the problems of rural areas and has made an effort to increase water resources in the state. KTR urged farmers to have confidence in the government’s support and trust KCR.
