Hyderabad, Dec 18 (UNI) : Union Tourism Minister G.Kishan Reddy on Sunday claimed that the Modi Government is working 24X7 to bring medical services closer to the people of Telangana through various measures. .
Rs. 5,550 crore of funds released through the National Health Mission (NHM) funds to the state of Telangana during the last eight and a half years from 2014-15 till date and providing medicines at 50 to 80 percent lower prices across the state through 175 Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Paryojana Kendras in the state, Kishan said in a statement here.During last 3 years to implement the TB eradication program in Telangana, he said Rs. 146 crore funds released In 1040 fluorosis affected villages in the state besides Rs. 800 crores for eradication of fluorosis under National Water Quality Submission.Around Rs.300 Crore funds released under Emergency Covid Response Package Phase-II during COVID-19, he said.
