Setback to KCR as the High Court transfers MLAs poaching case to CBI

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Monday transferred the probe into a case related to the alleged attempts to poach four MLAs of the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The High Vourt also dissolved the state government-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) which was probing the case. The sensational case was being investigated by the K Chandrasekhar Rao government-appointed SIT till now. Presenting the video-audio evidence from the meeting of “three Delhi-sent agents” and four TRS MLAs at a farm house, KCR had, in a press conference alleged that the BJP attempted to topple his government.
