Siddaramaiah flays BJP govt for curtailingsession for Shah’s visit

Belagavi, Dec 29 (UNI) Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah on Thursday accused Karnataka BJP government of curtailing the winter session by a day for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit.He said this move is against the state’s interests and added that it could have been extended to another week to discuss problems afflicting the people of North Karnataka.“The curtailment of the session for Amit Shah shows BJP government’s insensitivity towards people of North Karnataka,” Siddaramaiah said. The 10-day session was to end on 30 December. Amit Shah will reach Bengaluru tonight to attend various events and party meetings on December 30 and 31 in Mandya, Devanahalli and Bengaluru.
