The Annual Report of the Staff Selection Commission for the year 2021-22 clearly indicates that the number of qualified candidates from the Southern Region is only 4.5 per cent of 28081 total qualified persons selected by Staff Selection Commission. Similarly, in the Competitive examinations conducted.
by Railway Recruitment Board vide Notification No. CEN No.01/2019 – Level 5 on various dates during this year (2022) in the Southern Region for the posts
of Goods Guard, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Station Master etc., most of the persons selected do not belong to Tamil Nadu.
