25 passengers hurt as TSRTC bus overturns

Hyderabad: As many as 25 passengers traveling in the TSRTC bus were injured, some of them seriously, as the vehicle overturned at Kamareddy in the state on Saturday. The bus which was on its way to Hyderabad from Banswada in the Nizamabad district lost control, hit a road divider, and overturned on the old highway. Local people rescued the passengers after breaking the windowpanes of the bus. The injured people were rushed to the district headquarters hospital while the seriously injured were sent to Hyderabad for better treatment.

In all, 29 people including the driver and the conductor were traveling on the bus. The TSRTC officials reached the accident spot to investigate the cause of the accident, according to sources here.
