Hyderabad: BJP Telangana in charge and National general secretary Tarun Chugh on Tuesday strongly condemned the arrest of state party chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar and party workers and warned that the party would launch state-wide protests against the barbaric act of K Chandrasekhar Rao’s headed TRS government.
Demanding immediate release of the BJP state president and workers. Chugh said the BJP would never give up its struggle against the family rule of KCR and said that the “barbaric and rouge” government led by the Chief Minister would soon be brought to its knees, a party statement here said.

Tarun Chug asserted that the BJP workers were only trying to bring to the limelight by holding protests outside the residence of ruling TRS party lawmaker Kalvakuntla Kavitha in Hyderabad for her alleged involvement in a liquor scandal in Delhi involving Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia. Since Kavitha is the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, her involvement in the liquor scam also cannot be ruled out and details of the scam would come to light soon, he said.
Calling upon the BJP workers not to get intimidated by the action of the brutality of the KCR government, the BJP National General Secretary said the unconstitutional manner in which the state government has been functioning only indicated how panic and nervousness of KCR and his party.
