Hyderabad: Denying her role in the Delhi liquor scam, TRS MLC Kalvakunta Kavitha on Monday said that the BJP leaders were making baseless allegations against her as she was the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Talking to the media here, Kavitha said “ I want to make it clear that the allegations made against her by BJP leaders are completely baseless and remain as mere allegations.
They have all the agencies in their hands and they can order whatever investigation that is required”. It may be noted here that West Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, at a press conference in the National Capital on Sunday alleged that the Delhi liquor scam had links to Telangana and he suspected the role of Chief Minister KCR’s family.
Kavitha said she will file a defamation suit against Verma and former MLA Manjinder Sirsa for their baseless allegations against her in the liquor scam. The TRS MLC said she will also move court seeking an injunction order against those who made allegations against her, a statement here said.
