Nizamabad, September 14: Government welfare girls’ residential school in Kanjara village of Mopal Mandal, the hostels for backward classes boys in Mopal, Collector CNarayana Reddy conducted a surprise inspection on Tuesday. The Collector, who first visited Kanjara Residential School, inspected all the departments closely. The facilities in the kitchen, dormitory, store room, and toilets were inspected. Checked the mid-day meal being prepared for the students. The quality of goods such as rice, pulses, and cooking oil stored in the store room was examined. The Collector observed several girls resting in the dormitory with minor ailments and inquired about their health conditions and the medical services being provided.

The managers were advised to provide quality treatment. After that, he visited the tenth class and inter-second year classrooms and addressed the students. Are breakfast and lunch delicious? Asked if all the facilities are available. The collector also asked the students about education and advised them to study well. He inspired the girls to use education as a weapon and climb higher peaks. He said that if you work hard at the student stage, you will be happy for the rest of your life and that education has the power to change the family pattern. It is advised to set clear goals and move ahead in a planned manner without wasting time, stay away from addictions like cell phones and take advantage of the facilities provided by the government. The Collector expressed satisfaction that the classrooms and surroundings of the residential school are clean and the maintenance is regular.

Meanwhile, during the visit to the Mopal BC Boys’ Hostel, the Collector objected to the performance of the concerned officials as many errors were found. It was ordered to clean the vicinity of the hostel free of wild plants and garbage. If the conditions are chaotic, there is a risk of the spread of diseases and poisonous insects, so immediate attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the surroundings. The collector warned that he would inspect the hostel again in ten days and strict action would be taken against those responsible if the conditions were not improved by then. It is suggested that the ongoing repair works in the hostel should be completed within the stipulated time and with quality. Along with the collector.
