Collector directed the Irrigation Dept. and Revenue officials to speed up the pending works

The South India times Gadwal: District Collector Vallur Kranti directed the Irrigation Department and Revenue officials to speed up the pending works of embankment land acquisition and RR centers. A review meeting was held by the revenue officers of the Irrigation Department on the works of the centers. On this occasion, the collector asked how far the embankment lifting scheme works have come. SE and RDO said that the work is going on at a fast pace.

As part of the embankment lifting scheme, the Aluru Approach Canal pump house and pressure mains have been identified and a survey completed, he said. He said that the work of the dam reservoir will be speeded up. On this occasion, the collector was explained through a map related to the elevations. He asked to what extent the works of Chinnonipalli reservoir under the Nettempadu project have been completed. He said that 70 percent of the reservoir work has been completed.

Officials explained that the rest of the work will be completed in five months. He said that some works have already been completed in the rehabilitation center. The Collector inquired about the progress of rehabilitation centers in Revulapalli, Chinnonipalli, Nagar Doddi, Garlapadu, Aluru, and Ryalampadu.

Officials said that there is still distribution of ho-use tracks and they will start distributing them soon. The Collector ordered to start the construction of roads, drainage, buildings, and electrical arrangements in the RR centers through the layout as soon as possible.
