Hyderabad, Aug.3 (UNI): Former minister and BJP MLA Etala Rajender today alleged that both Congress and TRS parties were hands in glove in Telangana State. He also alleged that the two parties were working together secretly. He also condemned the criticism of the Congress MLA Rajagopal Reddy, who resigned from the party. Etala also condemned the comments of TPCC Chief A. Revanth Reddy against Rajagopal Reddy. He asked Revanth whether the TRS did not welcome some MLAs and MLCs into its fold after, their victory as Congress candidates? He also asked Revanth if he did not change four political parties in his career. He alleged that Revanth Reddy grew in politics by blackmailing politics.
He claimed that Revanth was trying to become a chief minister by using the Congress party and added that the comments Revanth against Rajagopal Reddy were disgusting. He claimed that Revanth was frustrated as he was not getting the desired results after becoming the TPCC Chief. He asked Revanth why he did not win in his Kodangal Assembly constituency if he was a big leader of the State besides asking about his promise of quitting politics if he lost the Assembly elections in Kodangal. Rajender claimed that the Congress leaders caused a lot of problems for Rajagopal Reddy. He also claimed that Rajagopal Reddy did not agree to the offer of the BJP leadership to join the party during separate Telangana State agitation.
Etala reminded that Rajagopal Reddy had made it clear that he would work for the creation of a separate Telangana State even after the cancellation of the contracts of his company and causing other problems. He said Congress was disappearing from the country. He said the Congress party had entered into a political alliance with Shiv Sena and NCP to form government in Maharashtra after ignoring its ideals. Claiming. that the people of Maharashtra expressed their disappointment over the alliance of the Congress, NCP, and Shiv Sena, he said the present CM of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde discharged his duty in order to please the people of the State. He mocked that the Congress party was reduced to two Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections held this year and added that the people of UP had rejected the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He reminded the Congress leaders and workers that Rahul Gandhi became the MP by contesting from Kerala State. He alleged that both the Congress and the TRS parties would work together in the upcoming Vice President’s elections in the same manner as they worked together in the recent President’s elections.
