The South India Times Jogulamba Gadwal : District Collector Vallur Kranti said that all doctors should be available to provide better treatment to the patients in the government hospital. The collector made a surprise inspection of the district government hospital on Tuesday morning.

On the occasion, he went around each ward and talked to the patients. They asked various questions like how the doctors are doing the treatment in the hospital, how long is the waiting time for the treatment, and whether the medicines are being dispensed. OPI WARD, SURGICAL WARD, Dialysis, ICU as well as labor ward were inspected and records were checked. The patient’s phone number must be accurately entered in the records to ensure proper maintenance ordered to do. He warned that there is a need to improve a lot in terms of cleanliness. Later, they inspected the small children’s ward and water tanks in the hospital. He inquired whether the hospital had emergency medical supplies. He inquired whether cases are being registered under Arogyashri. He directed the doctors to work with commitment to increase the number of deliveries in the hospital. All medical services have been ordered to be ready.

He ordered to give a complete report regarding the purchase of basic facilities, emergency equipment and medicines for the hospital. The nurses working in the hospital should talk to the patients gently and provide services to the patients, and the head nurse has been ordered to take appropriate measures in order to follow orderliness and punctuality. The collector said that every staff member should attend on time through biometrics. He warned that the blood tests should be conducted in the hospital and they should not come outside to take the blood sample. The collector said that the medicines should not be given out to ensure that they are given to the patients. Before organizing the southern camps, the details of the disabled should be entered in the computer and they should be given a certificate with the doctor’s signature after the examinations. The Collector said that chairs should be made for the pregnant women to sit on and color tokens should be given to them so that they do not have to face any difficulties. When the medical health department brought to the notice of the collector that the works from the ICU and SNC oxygen pipeline to the main point were pending, he ordered EE Jayapal Reddy to complete all these works within ten days. Doctors Shobha Rani, Quality Manager Raj Kumar, and others participated.
