THE SOUTH INDIA TIMES PEDDAPALLI (JULY 28): Peddapalli Additional Collector Lak-shminarayana said that the power department has played a vital role in building a new society. He said NTPC has set up a 100 MW solar plant on its reservoir.

NTPC CGM Under the leadership of Sunil Kumar, a program “Ujjwala Bharat – Ujwala Bhavishat @2047” was organized at Bandampally Swa- roop Gardens in Peddapally District Center on Thursday. Ramgundam NTPC has undertaken a demonstration of the achievements of power reforms in 75 years of independent India. Lakshminarayana said that after independence many villages in the country did not have an electricity supply, but now every village across the country is getting an electricity supply. He said how much electricity contributes to the progress of humanity in its daily life.

Additional Collector Kumar Deepak said that he called us to use the resources sparingly instead of fully consuming the existing resources. NTPC GM Atul Kamalakar Desai, DG Surender Trivedi, NTPC H R Raghavs, students, officers, and others participated in this program. In the program, the students’ presentations explaining the importance of electricity impressed everyone.
