FIVE LABOURERS KILLED IN CRANE mishap in Kollapur, Revanth, Bandi demand compensation to kin

Hyderabad, July 29 (UNI): Five laborers were killed in a crane mishap at Regaman- agadda of Kollapur Mandal of Nagarkurnool district. The incident took place after the wire of the crane snapped while the laborers were going inside the pump house on the crane. One more laborer was also critically injured in the incident. The pump house is part of the Palamuru Ranga Reddy lift irrigation scheme. The project authorities shifted the bodies to the mortuary of Osmania General Hospital (OGH). A team of forensic departments of the hospital led by Dr. Abhijeet conducted post-mortem on the dead bodies. The victims have been identified as Bholenath, Praveen, Kamalesh, Sonu Kumar, and Srinu. The tragic incident took place in the package-1 works of the Palamuru Ranga Reddy project.

TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy demanded that the State government pay compensation to the family members of the victims. He expressed his deep condolences on the untimely demise of the victims. He also demanded that the State government take stern action against the persons responsible for the incident. State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar also condoled the deaths of the victims and demanded that the State government take stern action against those responsible for the incident. He also demanded that the State government come to the rescue of the family members of the victims, who hail from Jharkhand and Bihar.
