Free eye examination, operations under the auspices of Lions Club

The South India times Jagtial: Jagtial Lions Club organized a free eye examination and operations camp in Kondapur village of Medipalli Mandal on Tuesday. In this medical camp, about 200 elderly people came from Kondapur, Manne gudem, Bhimaram, Govindaram, Porumalla, and Katlakunta villages in Mandal, and they underwent eye tests.150 of them were confirmed to need Mothe Bindu operations. It was informed that all of them will be provided with free operation as well as free travel and accommodation. On this occasion, Lions Club Zonal Chairman Chapa Kishore said that more than one lakh eye operations have been conducted by Lions Club International and many poor people have been given sight.

He said that free eye operations and other services will be provided to people in the future as well President of Jagtial Lions Club Dr. Tatipamula Suresh Kumar said that Sarvendriyanam Nayanam Pradhanam is the most important part of our organs and this program has been organized by Lions Club in Medipalli Mandal with a great main intention to give it to everyone Similarly, in the coming days’ BP and sugar tests and awareness conference will be organized by the Lions Club.
