The South India times Jagtial : Jagtial Urban MPDO Chaudarapu Gangadhar said that geo-tagging must be done for every plant planted in villages. On Thursday, a meeting was held with the Panchayat Secretaries of Jagtial Urban Mandal and the GS staff. MPDO spoke on this occasion.Panchayat secretaries have been instructed to create awareness about Harita Haram and Sanitation program and to do GO tagging of saplings planted. It is suggested that the fitting of plants should be completed 100% and the tree guards should be properly main tained for the plants planted on both sides of the road.
He said that sanitation work should be done continuously in the villages, Muggle competition should be organized in every village on 20th day under the leadership of Grama Samaykya women and first and second prizes should be given in Rangoli program. As part of the 75th Swatantra Vajrotsavam programme, the Panchayat Secretaries were directed to plant saplings by local public representatives on the 21st. In charge APO Dayakar, panchayat secretaries and staff participated in this program.
