The South India times Hyderabad: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Wednesday said Telangana’s 14-year-old girl Hasvi brought rare laurels to the entire nation and also to the state by scaling Mount Elbrus, the highest peak of the Caucasus Mountains on Monday. Dattatreya called up Venkat Satyanarayana Murki, father of Hasvi, and congratulated him on his daughter’s remarkable feat. The Governor in a release said, ”she is just 14 and studying in Class X, but is full of energy and unlimited possibilities. Hasvi will scale bigger heights in days to come.

She has made us proud. Look forward to meeting her when she returns to Hyderabad, Dattatreya said. My best wishes for her future endeavors,? he said. A student hailing from Mancherial in Telangana and studying at Excellencia Infinitum School, Shamirp et in Hyderabad, Hasvi scaled Mount Elbrus on August 15, 2022, while India is celebrating 75 years of Independence. She achieved the rare feat in just 24 hours from both the East and the West sides braving the strong wind blowing at a speed of 45 km per hour and below minus 20 degrees Celsius temperature.
