Heavy rain likely in Telangana in next 3 days: Met

HYDERABAD, JULY 26 (UNI) Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said here on Tuesday.

Issuing a bulletin, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagu- dem, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Janagaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts of the state on Wednesday.

Heavy rain very is likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana on Thursday. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or at many places in the state during the next five days. Southwest Monsoon has been active over Telangana during the last 24 hours. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Rangareddy while heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Vikarabad district and heavy rainfall occurred at a few places in Adila- bad, Hyderabad, Narayanpet, and at isolated places in Mahabubnagar, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Warangal-rural districts of Telangana during the same period. Rain occurred at most places in the state during the last 24 hours.
