Heavy rain likely in TS on Aug 27-28 : Met

The South India times Hyderabad: The Met department warned of heavy rainfall at isolated places in all districts of Telangana on August 26 and 27, as the upper air cyclonic circulation over the northeast Bay of Bengal and its neighborhood now lies over north-coastal Odisha and its neighborhood.

According to the bulletin, a north-south trough runs from Odisha to Rayalaseema across the coastal districts above the mean sea level (MSL). The east-west shear zone roughly 13 degrees north at 7.6 km above the mean sea level is persisting. The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers is likely to occur at a few/many/most places over Telangana from August 25 to 28.
