Hyderabad Traffic Police arranges Green Channel to transport Live organ

Hyderabad: Once again, the city traffic police on Tuesday arranged a green channel to transport a Live organs (Heart) by providing non-stop movement to the ambulance carrying the organ. At 1145 hours today, Hyderabad Traffic Police arranged Green Channel in coordination with Rachakonda Police for transportation of Live organ (Heart) from Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet to KIM S Hospital, Secunderabad.

The distance between Yashoda Hospital, Malak pet, Hyderabad to KIMS Hospital Secunderabad is 21 km which was covered in 22 minutes. The medical team carrying Live organ (Heart) left at 1145 hours from Yashoda Hospital, Malakpet, Hyderabad, and reached KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad, at 1207 hours.

The efforts of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Traffic Police in the transportation of live organs were applauded by the management of Yashoda Hospital and KIMS Hospital as it would help in saving one precious life. This year in 2022, Hyderabad Traffic Police has facilitated organ transport 29 times, Hyderabad Traffic Police sources said.
