KCR family resorting to lies onSmart Cities funds: Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Aug.2 (UNI): Union minister for tourism & culture G. Kishan Reddy today said they would not leave Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family. Stating that they would continue to question the latter at every level, Kishan Reddy said the people in the State would end the family rule of KCR. He said he also asked the State officials to be careful and act accordingly. He asked the Chief Minister to think about Delhi and national politics.

Addressing a public meeting in YadadriBhongir district on the occasion of the launch of the third leg of padayatra of State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Kishan Reddy claimed the KCR government was only a government of promises but not of acts. He said the State government was misusing power and not following justice and law. Stating that the chief ministers of several States in the country meet people, he mocked that KCR was the only CM, who does not meet the people. The Union minister criticized that KCR had paid compensation to the farmers of Punjab while farmers in the State were suffering losses. He alleged that the CM had retracted his promise of procuring paddy from the farmers. He claimed that they increased the MSP of paddy from Rs1300 per quintal to Rs 2060 in the last seven years and asked the CM whether the MSP had not helped the farmers. He also alleged that the CM was removing the existing jobs after promising a job for every household. He also alleged that the CM would forget about his promises after the conclusion of every election.

Branding the TRS party as a puppet in the hands of its ally MIM, the Union minister lashed out at the State government for not holding Telangana Liberation Day officially fearing the MIM Party. He claimed that the State government had not paid the subsidy amount of Rs 3700 on urea to the farmers. He also alleged that the State government was not sending the data of students, who are eligible for Central scholarships. He said they were carrying out the works of Regional Ring Road by spending Rs 20,000 crore and added that they had spent Rs 1.4 lakh crore for the development of national highways. The Union minister wondered if the people of Telangana were not using the roads built by them. He said the Central government had constructed AIIMS in Bhongir and constructed buildings of the institute by spending Rs 900 crore. He also said they would soon lay the foundation stone for construction works. He alleged that the State government was not releasing funds for the second phase of the MMTS project and the railway coach factory works in Warangal were suspended due to the attitude of the State government. He alleged that the State government had stopped production of urea at the Ramagundam fertilizers factory.
