The South India times, Karimnagar:As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, “Bharat Vajrotsava biweekly” programs were started in the local SRR Government College. On this occasion, Principal Dr.KRamakrishna, Staff Secretary Dr. Srinivas Samyukta led by SRR Govt College teaching team specially decorated SRR with tricolor flags to show the spirit of freedom of India.

A bike rally was organ- ized in the town from the college to the collectorate. Additional District Administrator G. Shyam Prasad Lal was the chief guest of the program and garlanded the statue of Gandhiji at Collectorate office.

Later speaking, he said that the diamond festivals conducted by the state government to promote national unity will increase love and respect for the country among the citizens.
In this, the principal of Essar College, Dr. Ramakrishna, who showed the spirit of Vajrotsavam through a bike rally, the faculty, Y.Y.S., Y.C.C. Appreciated the officers. On this occasion, the college principal thanked the district administration for supporting the development of the college. National Service Scheme, Y.C.C.

In the ‘Vana Mahotsavam’ program in which 75 saplings were planted in the college campus under the guidance, saplings were planted along with the teaching team. Apart from that, he visited the medical examination camp organized for the public and students.

In this program, Vice Principal Ym. Himabindu, NSS program officers Dr.V. Varaprasad, A. Narayana, B. Suresh Kumar, D.D. Naidu, NCC Lt P. Raju, Physical Director Nageswara Rao, heads of various depart- ments and teaching team participated.
