The South India Times: Hanmakonda: KU police arrested a thief who works as a bike mechanic during the day and commits thefts in locked houses at night. Along with silver jewelry, five lakhs in cash, an auto, two laptops, two LED TVs, and two cell phones were seized by the police.
Regarding this arrest, Warangal Police Commissioner Dr. Tarun Joshi disclosed the details of Kashibugga SErelli Raghu alias Kunnu, a resident of R Nagar area, who used to work as a bike mechanic and used to drink alcohol and perform Jalsa with his income. As the income coming to the accused was not enough for his jalsa, the accused chose the way of theft to earn easy money. As part of this, he used to break the locks of locked houses at night and steal gold, silver and other valuables from the house. Accused in the same manner committed a total of eight thefts. In this the accused is currently in remand and another accused is Warangal District, Kashibugga SKalsi with Mohammed Yakub Pasha alias Rabbani of R Nagar area committed four thefts while the accused alone committed four more thefts. In this, four thefts were committed in the KUC police station, Subedari two and Inteja Ganj one in the police station.
The police, who were alerted to these thefts, conducted a joint investigation with the KUC police, who conducted the investigation on the instructions of Central Zone DCP Ashok Kumar. Currently, the police have not used the technology available police to monitor the movements of the accused. As part of this, on Tuesday morning Komatipalli Outer Ring Road KUC Inspector Dayakar and his staff were conducting Kalsi inspections, the accused was on his way to Hyderabad from Arepalli to sell the stolen property and the police stopped the accused’s car on suspicion after chasing the auto and checking the auto which was not caught, the police found the stolen property of the auto but did not take the accused into custody.
