RTC chairman Bajireddy despite distribution of Asara pension

The South India times Nizamabad: Telangana State RTC Corporation Chairman, Nizamabad Rural MLA Shri Bajireddy Govardhan distributed the newly granted Asara Pension ID Cards documents to the beneficiaries of Nizama bad Rural Mandal and Mo pal Mandal on Tuesday.

Mr. Bajireddy Govardhan, Hon’ble Nizamabad Rural MLA, distributed the newly granted Asara Pension ID cards documents to the beneficiaries of more than 764 beneficiaries belonging to various villages of Nizamabad Rural Mandal at the Mandal MPDO office. Later, Mopal Mandal distributed the newly granted Asara Pension ID Cards documents to more than 1059 beneficiaries belonging to different villages at Rythu Vedika Building.

On this occasion, MLA Bajireddy Govardhan said that most of the people in our state are ‘support’. Telangana is the only state in the country that provides support pensions to the majority of the poor. Along with the elderly, disabled, widows, single women, beedi workers, weavers, garment workers, and teachers, Telangana is the only state which provides pensions to the victims as the eldest son of the house, the Chief Minister of the state, KCR, is giving pension to the old people.
Already 38 lakh people are getting pensions in our state. There has been some delay in sanctioning new pensions as the state government’s resources have decreased due to the corona epidemicPensions have been granted to another 10 lakh people.

This means that a total of 48 lakh people will get pensions in the state. Only 12.40 lakh people in Gujarat and 31.50 lakh people in Maharashtra are given pension.Rs. per month for supporting pensions. 1,250 crore per year to Rs. 15,000 crores will be provided by Telangana state government to the beneficiaries. In Nizamabad Rural Constituency, 36,000 people were getting pensions while 10,000 more have been granted pensions.

The pension given in Telangana state is Rs. 2016 and giving Rs. 3016 is the highest in the country. Old Age Pension in Bihar is Rs. 400 s. Even in Gujarat, the Prime Minister’s home state, the pension is Rs. 750s only. It is also given only to those who are above 80 years of age. In Kerala, the pension for those who are over 75 years old is Rs. 1000 is being given.
