Student attempts to commit suicide for not issuing TC

Hyderabad: An Intermediate student allegedly attempted to commit suicide by pouring petrol and setting himself on fire in the College principal’s room for not issuing a Transfer Certificate (TC). Police said the student had completed the two-year Intermediate course at a private college in Ramanthapur here. He urged the college principal to issue TC several times, but he refused to issue it due to non clearance of pending fees. Enraged over it, he attempted to commit suicide. In the process of dousing the fire, the principal and two other students also received serious burns.
