Hyderabad has taken another step toward becoming a global center for film and digital production as the Telangana Chief Minister inaugurated the Netflix Eyeline Studios Global VFX and Virtual Production Hub in the city.
The new facility marks a major milestone for the entertainment and technology sectors in Telangana. Eyeline Studios is known as Netflix innovation hub that focuses on visual effects and advanced virtual production technologies used in international films and streaming content.
Speaking at the inauguration event Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy described the development as an important moment for the city film industry. He said the presence of Netflix signals a new phase for Hyderabad as it strengthens its position in the global entertainment landscape.
The Chief Minister also shared his vision of turning Hyderabad into an international film production hub that welcomes projects from across the world. He noted that the city has already become a major center for Indian cinema and now has the opportunity to attract global studios as well.
Reddy expressed confidence that the arrival of Netflix would open doors for stronger collaboration with international creators and film makers. According to him this development represents a new step toward bringing global film production closer to the city.
During the event he invited Netflix to expand its operations further by establishing a larger facility in the upcoming Bharat Future City which the state government is developing on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister said the government is ready to provide the necessary support and infrastructure for companies willing to invest in the region. He also offered land in Bharat Future City for Netflix if the company plans to expand its operations in the future.
Reddy emphasized that his broader vision is to attract leading global companies to the new city project. He said the government aims to bring many companies from the Fortune 500 list to set up operations there.
He also pointed out that Hyderabad has naturally become a suitable base for global technology and entertainment companies because of its strong infrastructure skilled workforce and growing digital ecosystem.
The Chief Minister added that the government is also promoting sports and building new infrastructure including a sports university which could further support the entertainment and media sectors.
Several officials including Telangana IT Minister D Sridhar Babu and Union Information and Broadcasting Secretary Sanjay Jaju attended the event along with industry representatives.
With the launch of the Netflix Eyeline Studios hub Hyderabad continues to strengthen its reputation as a global destination for technology film production and creative industries.
