The South India times Hyderabad: As per the instructions of Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekar Rao, “Gandhi Cinema” is being screened in 552 theaters across the state.• Governm ent arranged to screen Gandhi film for free to 2.50 lakh students every day. To date, 22.50 lakh students have watched the Gandhi movie• Screening of Gandhi film will continue till the 21st of this month• Gandhi movie started screening across the state from August 9th to 11th August and from August 14th to 21st. Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao ordered the officials to show the biopic of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi to educate the present generation about the freedom struggle who fought relentlessly to achieve freedom of the country and the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. Gandhiji’s life stands apart which is a role model for today’s generation to imbibe patriotism, moral values, social outlook, and a sense of unity.

This film is screened in Hindi and English versions. The Diamond Jubilee celebrations aimed to create awareness of progress made in the 75 years of self-rule with the aspirations of the freedom fighters. Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, was the symbol of the Independence Movement. His life was a movement. Gandhi was a person who had a complete understanding of the system, the style of governance, and the attitude of the rulers. After studying in England and working as a lawyer in South Africa, he has taken up many nonviolent protests against British racism in his early days.Gandhiji was a great person who deeply believed in peace and practiced nonviolence as a symbol of mental strength, then returned to the country and organized the people of the country as weapons of truth and non-violence and led the Independence Movement. He fulfilled the burning desire for freedom for almost two centuries.

The great Gandhiji breathed his last while wishing for unity among the people of all sections, religions, and castes.The life story of Mahatma Gandhi, who died in 1948, was filmed in English in 1982 and seen by 350 million people worldwide. Celebrities who have seen Gandhi’s biopic have praised Gandhiji as one of the great men who appeared on this earth in the 20th century.
