The South India times Hyderabad: A low-pressure area formed over the North Bay of Bengal at 0830 hours on Saturday, Meteorological Centre said. In a special weather bulletin here, it said the low-pressure area is very likely to move west-northwestward, become well marked during the next 12 hours, and concentrate into a depression during the subsequent 24 hours.
Associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height. The bulletin said a thunderstorm accompanied by lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in a few districts of Telangana today and on Sunday.
