To conduct sports competitions and events effectively: Collector K. Sashanka

The South India times Mahbubabad: District Collector K. Shashanka said that Freedom Cup sports competitions and arrangements should be organized effectively. A meeting of Shashanka District Sports Committee was arranged and the sports organized for youth and employees were reviewed with the concerned officials. The district collector said that 12 kho kho competitions, 14 kabaddis, 14 volleyball, and 14 tug of war competitions have participated from 16 mandals. The details of participating employees and teams were inquired about department-wise. He said that the competitions should be organized by male and female teams.

On the 17th of this month semi-final and 18th, final competitions will be held, and on the 18th in the evening N.T.R. The concerned officials were directed to organize the closing program of the sports competitions in the stadium, to provide sanitation and drinking water facilities, to provide snacks to the athletes, to give certificates of appreciation and mementos to the winners, and to prepare the stage and to make other arrangements. He said that cultural programs should be organized under the auspices of the Education Department. Additional Collector M. David, D.E. O. M.D. Abdul Hai, D.H.S. O. Suryanarayana, District Animal Husbandry Department Officer Dr. T. Sudhakar, D.Y.S. O. Anil, RD Os Komuraiah, L.Rame sh, Municipal Commissioner Prasanna Rani, Tehsildar Nagabhavani and others participated.
