The South India Times Peddapalli (July 29): TS Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar has clarified that the Dalitbandhu scheme designed by the Chief Minister KCR for the economic development of Dalits in Telangana state is very useful for the development of Dalits like nowhere else in India. On Friday, 130 Dalita Bandhu units were distributed in the agricultural market yard of Peddapalli district headquarters. State Minister Koppu- la Eshwar attended the program as the chief guest and said that so far this scheme has been implemented for 40,000 Dalit families in the state, similarly, this scheme will be implemented for 1500 families in each constituency. The minister said that the Telangana government will stand by every Dalit family in the state and they are fully committed to their development.
