Violators should be deal with strictly: Mayor Gundu Sudharani

The South India times Hanmakonda: City Mayor Gundu Sudharani said that the rules of TS Bypass should be strictly implemented in the granting of construction permits and strict action should be taken against those who violate the rules.

On Thursday, a meeting was held with the Town Planning Officers at the Baldia head office and several suggestions were made to review the TS Bypass implementation, grant of permissions, pending court cases, identification of unauthorized layouts, actions, pending TS Bypass, removal of dilapidated buildings, etc. Speaking on this occasion, the Mayor directed the TPBOs to examine all the documents as per the rules before granting building construction permits through the TSB pass and forward them to the high- er authorities for further approval.

To date, out of 7452 applications for TSBpass, 4925 have been sanctioned and 367 are in the process of being sanctioned. The CP explained that shortfall and fee are pending for the rest of the tenders and 1759 tenders have been rejected and suggested that the pending tenders should be resolved in time. He ordered to take steps to resolve the cases of the said court within the deadline by implementing the orders from the High Court and Lokayukta.
