TN Guv, CM, leaders extend X-mas greetings

Chennai, Dec 24 : Tamil Nadu Governor R.N.Ravi, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin and leaders of various political parties today extended their Christmas greetings to the Christian community. In his message, the Governor said “I extend my warmest, Christmas greetings and best wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu especially our Christian brothers and sisters.” “Christmas celebrates the birth of Lord Jesus Christ who blessed the earth with love and compassion for peace and harmony. His message of forgiveness is the precious gift for the humanity and it underscores that we are one family and one future”, he said, according to a Raj Bhavan communique.
“May the Christmas bring health, happiness and harmony to all of us”, the Governor said and urged the people to celebrate the occasion by observing COVID protocols in view of rising cases in various countries. “In view of rising cases of COVID 19 pandemic in various countries, I urge you to celebrate Christmas observing Covid protocols”, the Governor said. In his greetings, Stalin expressed his best wishes to all the Christians to celebrate it with joy and happiness as it is a festival of human values ​​of equality, brotherhood, equality, exchange of love and helping the poor.
