Two ganja peddlers arrested, seized 9.3 kg

Hyderabad: The City Police Commissioner’s South Zone Task Force on Thursday arrested two persons, who were in possession of 9.315 kgs of ganja in a bid to sell the banned product. The police also confiscated their cellphones as well as motor-bike and Rs four lakh cash. The arrested persons were identified as 32-year-old Chandan Navin and 28-year-old Sultan Malik, both apparently natives of Madhya Pradesh state. According to police, while one of the accused Navin was working as car driver at Malkangir in Odisha, his co-accused Sulltan Malik in a marriage function hall in the city. As their earnings were not sufficient to meet their lavish life-styles, they opted to procure ganja and sell to make quick money.
