Union Tourism Minister welcomes HC judgement in fake case of MLAs poachgate

Date:

Hyderabad, Dec 26 : Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Monday evening welcomed the Judgement of the Highcourt in the Fake case of MLAs’ purchase. The High court today entrusted the investigation into alleged attempts to lure the BRS legislators by offering money, to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)
The court also quashed the Telangana government order constituting a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the poachgate and also the probe by the SIT so far. The order was passed on the writ petitions by the three principal accused persons – Ramachandra Bharti, Simhayaji and Nanda Kumar.
In a statement, Kishan said the High court judgement quashing the very constitution of SIT in the fabricated ‘MLAs’ purchase case’ is a slap in the face of K.Chandrasekhar Rao’s (KCR) government. The High Court is categorical in nailing the lies of KCR, the Union Minister said the judgement vindicates the stance of BJP that the whole episode is the creation of KCR who is feeling frustrated with the fact that the people are furious with his dynastic rule. KCR committed a heinous crime by dragging National Leaders who have a proven track record of integrity into the matter, he said. For a false case which is based on his imagination, he wasted people’s money and undermined the institutions in addition to taking recourse to blatant misuse of official machinery, said Kishan. Unfortunate that IPS officers couldn’t speak truth to him, he said the judgement should serve as an eye opener to people like KCR who, blinded by power, think that they could do anything and everything.
In Democracy institutions are robust and would not succumb to the intimidation tactics of the despots, he said. “I welcome the High Court judgement as it reiterates the fact “Truth Prevails..Satyamev Jayate”, he added.
