CM Revanth Reddy Sets $1 Trillion Economy Goal for Telangana

Hyderabad, June 2: On the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy outlined his government’s vision to transform the state into a $1 trillion economy within the next decade, as part of a broader roadmap aligning with India’s 2047 development goals.

Paying tribute to Telangana martyrs and thanking Sonia Gandhi for enabling statehood, Revanth said his government, in office since December 2023, has been working to revive governance systems, empower women, support farmers, and generate large-scale employment.

Major initiatives include ₹21,000 crore in loans for women entrepreneurs, ₹20,617 crore in farm loan waivers, over 60,000 government jobs filled, a ₹24,000 crore Metro expansion, and global investments exceeding ₹3 lakh crore. Revanth emphasized that “Telangana Raising” will be the vehicle to make the state a national and global growth leader.
