Don’t Conquer Nature Live In It

Humans and nature are inextricably coupled, and people depend on the plants, animals, and microorganisms that supply important ecosystem services. The ecosystem services need to be taken into account in planning and development processes as it is really important to find ways to the minds and hearts of all people and to create a better understanding of nature. Live and let live, let Nature be our teacher.
We must not only observe but listen to the sound of Nature. Not long ago, I believed silence was simply the absence of sound, but of late I have realized that silence is the voice of the soul—and it’s a voice like no other; it is the presence of meaning. When I started spending regular periods in silent Nature, the presence of noise became more shocking. Next time you encounter silence in Nature, go beyond quietness. Nature’s mumbling, “use science not to conquer me but to live within me”, to be heard by everyone to act in accordance.
Natural resources are the resources that exist without any actions or intervention of human beings in Nature. All the things we need to survive, such as food, water, air, and shelter, come from natural resources. Without these natural resources, we cannot think of life on this planet. Natural resources, God’s gift to humanity, are being exploited vigorously and unscientifically and there is an urgent need to conserve and manage these on a sustainable basis.
It’s our moral and ethical responsibility to take care of and preserve natural resources for the future generation. The increased population and in turn the increased usage of resources, to satisfy human demands, are causing a lot of stress on land resources. In the name of progress, humans, have become true eco-terrorists making the planet earth a glorious dumping ground. The world was a clean place until we polluted it. The depletion of natural resources occurs when resources are consumed at a faster rate than their replacement. The energy consumption of humans is increasing rapidly while replacing the resources being used in energy production is still at a slow pace. The soil, air, lakes, and seas are being contaminated with sewage, radioactive materials, and toxic chemicals, among other pollutants. The present-day world is incessantly becoming industrialized as more and more countries make major technological breakthroughs. Electronic devices present a big problem for conservation because technology changes so quickly. Electronic devices present a big problem for conservation because technology changes so quickly.
The cutting down of trees for residential complexes and multiplexes has hindered the natural absorption process of carbon dioxide and as a result, global warming has become more severe. Plastic not only pollutes the water, but can directly kill animals and plants, and destroy the environment. The accumulation of plastic objects in the earth’s environment adversely affects wildlife, wildlife habitat, and humans. Today the Earth is facing challenges like climate change, deforestation, loss of habitat for wildlife, pollution, and more.
Nature is experiencing great destruction. If you are just crying for it but don’t do anything serious, your tears are of no importance to nature. The conservation of Nature takes care of and protects the natural resources so that they continue to be available in abundance. We can ensure that generations to come will also have a thriving planet to live and grow on by helping conserve our natural resources. Nature conservation is the practice of caring for these resources so all living things can benefit from them now and in the future. We need to live not just for ourselves, but for the whole of humanity, for the trees, birds, and all living beings.
If we don’t have a place for Nature in our hearts, how can we expect Nature to have a place for us? It is not the Earth that has problems, it is us — act before all the trees have been cut down, all the animals have been hunted, all the waters are polluted, and all the air is unsafe to breathe. It is the responsibility of everyone to practice the three R’s — Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to preserve natural resources. Plastic pollution-free living is the easiest way to avoid the increasing plastic waste — every day we can make the world a better place to live, just by not using plastic bottles and bags.
The conservation of Nature comes in many forms — planting trees, using alternative energy resources, establishing protected areas, protecting biodiversity, hunting restrictions, and proper planting — with each one aiming to benefit all living organisms on earth. The environment is nothing but the place, people, things, and nature that surround any living organism and environmental conservation is a collective responsibility to safeguard and nurture the global ecosystem.
Environmental cleanliness begins with an individual desire to be clean. To cleanse the world, plant a tree, then another, then many more. The only way forward, if we are going to improve the quality of the environment, is to get everybody involved. Over the years, nature has suffered massive destruction, and human actions have caused serious and irreversible damage. The conservation of natural resources is the need of the future generation. World Nature Conservation Day is celebrated every year on July 28 across the world and people from all over the world pledge to fight global warming and protect Mother Nature. The idea is to provide the world with a chance to introspect as a species on how humans are exploiting nature and take steps to conserve it. World nature conservation day reminds us to stop, reflect and be more careful in protecting nature from further harm. If we help nature; nature helps us. The day also underlines the need to save important resources like water, soil, flora, and fauna for future generations. Mr. Barry Commoner has said that “The proper use of science is not to conquer nature but to live in it”. We must work with nature and not against it.
