In times of change- has book reading increased or decreased?

Date:

After the rise of science and technology, students have stopped reading books completely and are studying only the subject they want. Due to not reading books for world knowledge, social values , and other knowledge, it can be said that most of the social values are not open to the youth. Reading books means reading society! Reading is not only a unique experience but also imparts culture, responsibility, knowledge, and understanding to lead a meaningful life as a human being. They say in many ways that book reading should be a habit, it is useful for learning many things and it should be a part of life. But it is not just a habit but it is a duty to study more deeply. The deep study helps a lot to analyze, criticize, apply, compare, explain, answer, and have a clear opinion.
Today, the number of people who read books as a gift is incalculable. The selection of the book, and the angle of reading, so that O Nagore has a clear view of the social purpose, social consciousness, and society also makes the reading of the book meaningful. These days, articles published in magazines, poems, articles in daily newspapers, analyses and reviews, and finally, the writings of celebrities appearing in various
WhatsApp groups on cell phones can only be acquired in a book. It is heartening to announce that recently the Telangana government has decided to make available general books along with competitive examinations by setting up reading rooms under the auspices of the government along with the government libraries in the educational institutions at the rural town level. Such reading rooms along with government libraries are very helpful, especially for poor students who cannot afford books. World Book Day theme: The importance of books has been steadily increasing since the beginning of printing, but the decline of books is indeed somewhat appropriate when electronic media became popular. However, it is no exaggeration to say that no other medium can replace the knowledge gained through reading books. Gantapatha0 can say that there is no other tool for acquiring knowledge than books as machines are no substitute for teacher’s teaching. Books on various topics are available in the market today as many authors, organizations, and governments are producing millions of books every year. When books are read with a sense of responsibility, duty, purpose, and social consciousness, more benefits will accrue to the reader and society. Along with the destination, the journey should also be great. Also the subject matter of the book and the initiative social awareness of the poet doubles the benefit of the book. So when many writers, poets, artists, and intellectuals who are famous in history observed that they stood as ideals for the society by reading the book, some people decided to set a special campaign target by arranging a special day for the Book PatanaIt appears that living beings think in the beginning. World famous writers such as Savantas, Shakespeare in Ka Garsilaso, and Vega died on this day in the year 1616 and also many writers like Joseph Pla, Vla Dimir, and Maurice died or were born on 23rd April which is the reason why today is Book Day. There was a tradition of celebrating book days on different dates in the world but since April 23rd was officially declared by UNESCO in 1995, every year a city or a country is declared as the World Book CapitalAlso coming as standard.UNESCO has suggested that book copyright day should be celebrated along with World Book Day, and authors, publishers, readers, and teachers should be honored on this day to bring widespread awareness. In 2003, New Delhi was recognized as the World Book Capital by UNESCO, and by 2023, it will be the African Book CapitalThe city of Accra in Ghana has been declared the book capital of the world. The literacy rate in India is still not above 70%. Even among those 70, there may be more than half of those who could only write their names, so we understand that only the other half were those who could read books. Those who can read are not reading books. According to an estimate, only 13 percent of people read literature. Literature is also divided into descriptive, emotional, and social change sections. Factors such as the subject taken up, the point of view, and the commitment towards society also determine the rate at which the books are useful to society. Due to many reasons such as the percentage of people who read is low, the number of people who read grudgingly, and the people who welcome change so easily are very, society is not benefited from literature books. Along with this review, there is a need to increase the readership of the need to read, and the government as well as intellectual beings in society, intellectuals, especially the educational institutions, need to carry out a large amount of responsibility. Alliteration also helps to increase the reader’s interest to increase reading of the book. In the same order, there is a need to work hard through various programs like adult education to make ordinary literate people effective readers. There is a need to bring awareness to World Book Day by creating awareness of the illiterate youth especially the youth in reading books in simple language, practical aspects, and comprehensible manner. Also in schools, colleges, educational institutions, libraries, farmers’ forums, workers’ meeting halls
Programs to understand the importance of books, knowledge, skill, intelligence, and awareness gained through reading should be continued in collaboration with art groups. In in the past, especially in the United State of Andhra Pradesh, in the region of 1990, the District Collectors used names like Akshara Ujwala and Akshara Prabha to improve the skills of literate people so that those who stopped in the middle of their studies could read and understand the letters on their own. The continuation of night school programs through books produced in a simple style also benefited to some extent. At present the main problem before the government is to take various programs to reach those who are away from books and also to take up skill programs to bring the illiterate to the level of reading and book reading only when the mummara campaign is taken as a public movement. We will be those who take the priority of the house from house to house. Only so World Book Day will be meaningful only when the government takes responsibility for programs to make all the family members readers in some form or another, just like reading is the light of the house. Even within schools and colleges, reading general books as part of the curriculum and co-curricular programs can be developed in children. Any habit can be difficult at first, but doing something you like will make any hobby more interesting. If you are fond of reading books, this book map will help you to think more to learn things, overcome the challenges faced in life, and solve problems. Stories, novels, poems, and essays make us aware of many aspects of life. As the speed of reading gradually increases, each singer grows to the level of predicting, understanding, and explaining. The purpose of reading the book is the same.
