KCR doing a balancing act to promote agriculture sector

Date:

Telangana State Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao is working diligently to make Telangana state an ideal state for the world. Telangana state is already known as the ideal state among the states in the country! Especially in developing Telangana as a grain-producing state, the chief minister of Telangana has taken the lead in developing it as an agricultural state, especially in water projects, developed 4000 chain link ponds built during the Kakatiya period, and developed the ponds in such a way that they are always full.
It can be said that the initiative shown by Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao in creating the future will stand as a great example for the present society. Especially the agriculture sector used to see barren lands, especially in northern Telangana districts with frequent droughts. The agricultural sector in Telangana used to depend on the Sun and Moon. All over Telangana farmers used to practice agriculture, especially under wells, under ponds, and with boreholes. But the Telugu people (people of Telangana) who are troubled by the droughts, today their houses are full of joy and happiness.
Wherever you look, the land of Gunta is green without Kali. The main reason for all this is that the ruler is an agriculturist and he knows the agricultural ebbs and flows, so the development of agriculture in Telangana is mainly undertaken. Farmers in our state are 58.35 lakhs, 55 percent depend on the agriculture sector for their livelihood, and 1.43 crores of agricultural land is under cultivation. The credit for making the land suitable for agriculture on such a large scale goes to our Chief Minister. The agricultural products especially the major crops produced are as follows. (a) Paddy (14.19) lakh hectares in Telangana, (b) Maize (6.63 lakh hectares, (c) pulses (6.11) lakh hectares, (d) Groundnut (1.89) lakh hectares, (e) Cotton (18.13 ) lakh hectares. (f) Chilli (0.83) lakh hectares, (h) Sugarcane (0.41) hectares all important crops are grown in the state.
Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for about 60 percent of India’s population. Small car farmers who depend on such a large amount of agriculture for their livelihood are facing many difficulties. It is known that there have been agitations in the surrounding areas of Delhi for a year against the three laws brought by the central government in 2021, especially the affordable price. The central government had to come down with about 750 martyrs of the farmers who had taken up Mokkavoni Diksha. In the end, the Prime Minister himself announced the repeal of the three Acts.

  1. Telangana State has not only given importance to the agricultural sector but has also taken the state that stands as an example to the world in providing 24-hour electricity and investment assistance of ten thousand per acre, but also brought the farmers in the country together and established an ideal peasant stateThe Chief Minister is moving. At a time when all the people of the country, especially the farmers want to become a kingdom, every farmer of the country is welcoming the establishment of the Bharat Rashtra Samiti Party and moving forward.
Our KCR, who has worked hard to change the image of farmers in Telangana state, has no chance to grow as a compass for the country. Many projects have been constructed to increase the cultivated area and increase the groundwater. Actions taken in the name of Mission Kakatiya to repair and desilt ponds and increase water storage have yielded fruitful results. Fallen agricultural lands have become verdant like a green carpet and two crops are grown every seven.
The measures taken by the agricultural officials of the state government to give instructions to the farmers on agricultural production and cultivation methods from time to time are giving good results. 117% of cultivation has been developed in the last 8 years.
In Telangana, 62.48 lakh acres of crops were cultivated in 2014-15, which increased to 1.35 crore acres in 2020-21. It means that the cultivation area of 72.52 lakh acres has increased in the past period and it can be said that such a large amount of agricultural land has been cultivated for the first time in the country. Government figures say that the Telangana state government has spent a total of Rs 1.61 lakh crore on irrigation projects1) Similarly, 18.25 lakh acres through the Kaleshwaram project, (2) 5.58 lakh acres through the Sitaram project, (3) 2.03 lakh acres through Bima Lift, (4) 4.24 lakh acres through the Kalvakurti project, (5) Two lakh acres through Jawahar Nettempadu.
Newly cultivated. Apart from this, the works of Palamuru and Rangareddy Deva projects are progressing rapidly. If these projects are completed, another 16 lakh acres of land in Telangana state will be suitable for cultivation.
  2. In the state of Telangana, through the Kakatiya scheme, the government has sincerely developed chain ponds in the state for Rs 5.349 crores. In the past, the ponds were filled with silt and there was no possibility of water storage. We all know that the water in the pond or the water in the agricultural wells or the crops dried up. Due to a lack of action, Telangana state was hit by drought.8.93 tmcs of water has been stored and irrigated to 15.05 lakh ayakattu during the past period due to the repair of ponds and ponds. The government has formulated a long-term plan to undertake the construction of 1,200 check dams for Rs 3,850 crore. According to government figures, the construction of the 638 Act has already been completed. The remaining 562 works are at the stage of completion. 20.35 lakh acres will be cultivated under a micro irrigation scheme in Telangana state. The state of Telangana has become greener through massive programs like Haritaharam along with abundant rains of projects undertaken by the government.
As a result, the water level of Telangana state’s Sasyamalamai territory has risen by 4.14 meters. It should be said that the Telangana state government has succeeded in providing quality seeds, fertilizers, and quality electricity to the farmers. Farmers are provided with tools, equipment, and fertilizers with subsidies. Farmers get help from the government in all ways, and the measures taken by the state government, such as depositing directly into the farmer’s account without any middlemen, are very beneficial to the farmersThe government has officially confirmed that 2 lakh 750 acres of crops have been damaged due to heavy rains. However, the Chief Minister of Telangana State assured the farmers who lost their crops and took appropriate steps towards providing compensation at the rate of 10,000 rupees per acre. Anyway, Telangana state is already recognized as an ideal state in India. Telangana state will emerge as a compass for India in this direction. It can be said that our Chief Minister is a person who has a hard work mentality, knows the hardships of the people and constantly supports the creation of infrastructure according to the needs of the people, and is constantly singing for the construction of an ideal peasant state for the world.
