- No algae in running water! Social evils have no place in a country that moves forward with appropriate reforms from time to time. But the big powers that rule society want the status quo. They teach history to sustain their authority. They brew and change to poison people’s minds with distorted feelings. There is no danger of lies, corruption, nepotism and family rule becoming the main curriculum where knowledge society is to be built according to tomorrow’s needs. Propagation of falsehoods is preferred where scientific society should be built in favor of the present society. What is the progress of the country? The influence of the current political ideologies. The way of analyzing the complex history of India during the Middle Ages.
Many think that “if history is torn, it will be torn” and leaders are among such intellectuals whose brains have reached their knees! Owl-minded gentlemen who don’t want to look at the passer-by cannot digest historical truths. They propagate all the truths they don’t like as lies given by someone. Everywhere they try to rewrite history according to their politics of dividing and ruling the people. Sensing this danger, Mahatma Gandhi warned us that as long as the history is being taught in schools and colleges, complete religious harmony will not be achieved in our country. If the people are holding hair by the hair in the name of caste and religion, they will say, “We won’t gain votes! There are no leaders who think that if they are together, what will come together for us? There is no dearth of such leaders domestically, and the great lords who think of communalism as a great sin will spare no small opportunity to remove from the history books the lessons that preach it to the citizens of India. The Central Council of Educational Research Training (NCRT) has recently made several changes in the textbooks in the name of “rationalization” of the curriculum. Criticisms are pouring in all over the country that behind them, they are serving the vested interests of the selfish people who read history wearing the original political colored glasses.
The national leaders said that the future of the country is built in the classroom and they felt that the students should be taught the lessons that contribute to national unity. Four months after independence i.e. the “Indian History Congress” held in December 1947, those existing ideals were also discussed. The idea of unity of Indians regardless of caste and religion was expressed as the goal of history writing. Political Science, History and Social Science, which are mentioned as organized textbooks to provide good rulers to the society, have made many changes and additions in the current rulers to learn. In 2017, NCERT revised 1334 out of 182 books for analysis of central government programsPlaced in textbooks. In the name of ancient Indian science some other topics have been added in the respective books. Some of the studies were removed by the Mughal administration, Gandhi’s Atyodya incident in 2002 Gujarat riots and caste system social movements have been criticized for flying in the recent syllabus rationalization.
3.The situations faced in human life may not bring happiness and satisfaction! Everything may not be as favorable as expected. It has nothing to do with their wealth. Many bitter experiences and difficult losses may be faced. This is where the invisible force within becomes important. Man’s intellect is life. With courage and coordination, he can turn difficult times into good times. Other organisms do not have this facility. Psychologists say that children are very lucky in things like happiness, sadness and conflict.
Because they don’t remember the past. There is no anxiety about the future, they are enjoying every moment of their lives anew for all the joys and sorrows that come their way in the present. As the age increases and the maturity increases, we should adopt a mentality that can enter the parakaya in the mentality of young children. A smile is the only way to express a pure, simple brother-in-law. The competitive world of modern man takes away from the smile and to cope with the mental and physical stress, he runs for relief with entertainment and drugs. This is totally unacceptable. Who decides whether a man should be happy or not and who is responsible for man’s sorrow and sadness!
Some people say that they are responsible for their happiness and others are responsible for their sadness. The fact is that we are responsible for our own happiness and unhappiness. What should be done to calm the face of a man who can only look at himself in the mirror so that others can look at us! Inner happiness is expressed through a smile in front of others. A job that one finds difficult may become a necessity for an unemployed person. Words that are irritating to one may be instructive to another. Our current smile is like a rudder that can steer someone out of trouble. (The author is a Faculty Member of Kakatiya University, Warangal)
