A Telugu student has brought pride to her community after receiving a prestigious recognition in the United States for her achievements in technology and computing. Ananya Goli was selected for the State Honorable Mention award as part of the Minnesota Aspirations in Computing program, an honor presented annually by the Minnesota Technology Foundation.
The award recognizes high school students who demonstrate outstanding abilities in computing, technology, leadership, and community service. It is designed to encourage greater participation of girls and underrepresented groups in the technology sector and celebrate their accomplishments.
Ananya stood out among this year’s selected students, earning a place among only eight award recipients recognized for their exceptional performance and commitment in the field of computing. Her achievement has drawn appreciation from members of the Telugu community as well as technology enthusiasts.
Currently studying in the 10th grade at Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota, Ananya has shown remarkable dedication to technology at a young age. Her success highlights the growing presence of talented Indian students making an impact in global technology platforms.
Ananya is the daughter of Goli Krishna Chaitanya and Samp Sinha, whose family hails from Sattenapalli in Palnadu district of Andhra Pradesh. Both software professionals moved to the United States in 2014 and have since been supporting their daughter’s academic and technological pursuits.
The Minnesota Technology Foundation, affiliated with the National Center for Women and Information Technology, organizes these awards to inspire the next generation of innovators. Ananya’s recognition serves as an encouraging example for young students aspiring to build careers in technology and computing.
