Faizabad: Eight travelers were killed and two others wounded in a road accident that happened in Afghanistan’s northern Badakhshan province on Tuesday, provincial traffic official Abdul Matin said.
“Eight commuters including a woman and a child were killed and two others injured after their vehicle turned turtle in Yawan district around noon today,” Matin told Xinhua.
The cause of the deadly accident, according to the official, was reckless driving on a road in a mountainous area.
