Prague: An estimated 70,000 people participated in a rally in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. There were slogans against the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), European Union (EU), the Green Deal, and the Czech government’s stance on Russia. The protesters on Saturday called for the resignation of the government, the mitigation of the impact of the energy crisis and military neutrality. “The demonstration, under the slogan of “The Cze ch Republic First,” was a joint rally of organizations and parties that disagree with the current government policy and demand a change, according to the Czech News Agency (CT K) report. The demonstration came a day after the Cze ch government survived a no-confidence vote in the lower house of the parliament.
