The death toll from the blast at Yerevan market rises to 6

Yerevan: The death toll from the explosion at the Surmalu market in the Armenian capital of Yerevan has risen to six, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations said on Monday. A fireworks store exploded at the Surmalu market on Sunday, triggering the building’s collapse and a massive fire. A search and rescue operation continues to retrieve people from under the rubble”There are six deaths. Two of the victims have not been identified,” the ministry said in a situation update. According to the update, the blast left 61 people injured and 16 missings.
