Telangana is set to witness unstable weather conditions over the next few days, with the Meteorological Department issuing a warning for hailstorms and heavy rainfall across multiple regions. According to the latest advisory released on Thursday, the changing seasonal pattern is expected to trigger widespread rain activity from February 21 to February 24.
Officials stated that rainfall intensity may range from moderate to heavy during this period. Special caution has been advised for February 22, when northern and eastern districts of Telangana are likely to experience stronger storms accompanied by thunder and lightning. Gusty winds and sudden downpours could disrupt normal life in several areas.
Although temperatures are expected to dip slightly, the combination of thunderstorms, lightning, and hail may pose risks to crops, commuters, and outdoor activities. Hyderabad is also likely to receive spells of heavy rain during this period, adding to concerns in urban areas.
The weather department has urged citizens to remain alert and closely follow official advisories until the end of the month. Authorities have recommended taking precautionary measures, especially during peak storm hours, to minimize potential damage and ensure public safety.
