Promotions Granted in Panchayat Raj Department After Long Wait

After a prolonged delay, the Telangana government approved promotions in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, with Minister Seethakka leading the initiative to boost employee morale and administrative efficiency.

After a long gap, employees in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department received much awaited promotions, bringing relief and renewed confidence among staff. The decision was implemented following the initiative taken by Minister Seethakka, who actively pursued the issue to address stagnation in career growth.

As part of the promotion exercise, 27 Deputy CEOs were elevated as Chief Executive Officers, while 55 MPDOs were promoted as Deputy CEOs. The move is expected to improve administrative efficiency and enhance the functioning of rural development institutions across the state.

Officials who benefited from the promotions met Minister Seethakka at Praja Bhavan and expressed their gratitude for resolving a long standing demand. Employees stated that the promotions restored their morale and reflected the government’s commitment towards staff welfare.

Minister Seethakka reiterated that the present government is employee friendly and is focused on both filling vacant government posts and ensuring timely promotions. She said motivated employees play a crucial role in delivering better public services, especially in rural areas.
