New iQOO 15R brings 7600mAh battery Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor 144Hz AMOLED display 50MP Sony OIS camera and Android 16 with bank discounts and free TWS pre booking offers

iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 15R in India, marking the debut of its R series in the country with a strong focus on performance and battery life. Positioned as an affordable flagship, the device combines high end hardware with aggressive launch offers to attract premium smartphone buyers.

One of the biggest highlights of the iQOO 15R is its massive 7600mAh battery, a capacity rarely seen in this segment. Despite the large battery, the phone supports 100W fast charging, allowing users to power up quickly and get back to gaming, streaming, or work without long interruptions. For users who prioritize endurance, this device aims to stand out from typical flagship competitors.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, the same chipset featured in the OnePlus 15R. This top tier chip is designed to handle heavy gaming, intensive multitasking, and demanding applications with ease. Paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the phone promises faster data transfers and smooth overall performance.

The display is another strong point. The iQOO 15R features a 6.59 inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Whether scrolling through apps, watching high resolution videos, or playing competitive games, users can expect fluid visuals and responsive touch performance. The high refresh rate especially benefits gamers looking for smoother frame transitions.

On the camera front, iQOO has equipped the device with a 50MP Sony LYT 700V primary sensor with OIS support. This setup is designed to capture stable and detailed photos, even in challenging lighting conditions. An 8MP ultra wide lens complements the main sensor, offering versatility for landscape and group shots. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 32MP front camera that delivers sharp and clear images.

Durability has also been addressed. The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, adding an extra layer of protection for everyday use. On the software side, the iQOO 15R runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, bringing the latest features and interface improvements.

In terms of pricing, the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 44999. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs 47999, while the top end 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is available for Rs 52999. With Axis Bank and HDFC Bank cards, customers can avail an instant discount of Rs 4000, effectively lowering the starting price to around Rs 40999. Pre booking began on March 2, and sales will start from March 3 2026. As part of the launch offer, customers who pre book the device will receive free iQOO or Vivo TWS earbuds.

With its powerful processor, long lasting battery, premium display, and competitive pricing, the iQOO 15R is clearly aimed at users seeking flagship performance without crossing into ultra premium territory.
