RRB Exam Dates 2026 Revised for Technician Posts, New CBT Schedule Announced

Job aspirants preparing for railway recruitment have been asked to take note as the Railway Recruitment Board has revised the CBT exam schedule for technician posts. The updated dates apply to Technician Grade 1 Signal and Technician Grade 3 vacancies across multiple railway regions.

According to the latest notification issued by the Railway Recruitment Board, the computer based tests will now be conducted on March 6, 9, 10 and 13 at various centres across the country. Earlier, the exams were planned between March 5 and March 9, but the board revised the schedule due to administrative reasons.

Candidates who have registered for the technician recruitment drive have been advised to align their preparation with the new dates. The board clarified that exams will be held in online mode in three shifts each day. The first shift will run from 9 am to 10.30 am, followed by the second shift from 12.45 pm to 2.15 pm, and the third shift from 4.30 pm to 6 pm.

The city intimation slip will be made available ten days before the examination, allowing candidates to check their allotted exam city in advance. Admit cards for RRB Technician Exam 2026 will be released four days before the respective exam date, carrying details such as shift timing and exam centre address.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 6,238 Technician Grade 1 Signal and Technician Grade 3 posts across different railway zones. Final selection will be based on performance in the CBT, followed by document verification and medical examination. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official RRB website for updates and download the revised exam date notification.
